These terms were coined by Dennard Summers. They represent the 2 main ways someone can be shown invisibly. TFI means that just the body and not the clothing vanish while FFI means everything vanishes.

Speaking of Translucent -- Translucent Vol 4 has a release date now, AND an English cover on Amazon.com. Not sure if it's really coming out, but if it is, this is great news, as it has a LOT of TFI content in it.

Edit: Also, the new series "Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou" has an anime only (apparently?) character that is TFI -- she spends the entirety of episode 2 running around naked stalking the main character. She's also a bit of a ditz -- when he finally catches her... her only reply is "Hi! Can we be friends!?". Um, ooooh-kay.

Not sure why I didn't post this link yet. http://blog.livedoor.jp/flexible_invisible/ somewhat difficult to navigate but the front page is updated pretty often it seems. TFI stuff as well as some other fetishes like elastic and liquid girls, all of which is okay by me.
