Ugh, the program terminates every time I get past the intro area of entering names and birthdates and such.

Hmm, I finally got it working, but now I'm murdering myself figuring out what every option means.

KKpmc.net gives quite good information and a great walkthrough for Pm5.
Check the forum! =3 Well, however, all the games where never really planned to be translated. I guess that won't change. Pm2 did not work on the west-market, I still wait for a fanmade Translation but there are not many fans that know the games and would like to translate them D= |

Okay, hate to bump this thread but as a Princess Maker fan I'd REALLY like to try to get PM5 working one day. I've been trying off and on since this thread was made but had no luck.
Today, I read all of Page 4 (as advised) and installed and used AppLocale however... http://www.process-productions.com/f...8&postcount=57 Same EXACT problem. What are we doing wrong here? I've got Japanese languages installed, I'm running it through AppLocale, I've got the disc image mounted, but I still get this message. What are we doing wrong? |

I guess I'll poke around at Hong Fire. I was hoping since other people had it working here that maybe someone here knew a way around this problem. But yeah, I'll look over there sometime. |

I'd suggest heading for HongFire.com. They're much more focused on getting japanese games running, and if a patch/replacement file is necessarily, they'll already have it. And because of the focus, odds are if other people are having your problem, it's already been addressed.

Re: Princess Maker 5 (AP,BE?)
I believe in PM2, the numbers go up and she can't wear spring/winter clothes anymore, but that's about it.
I could be wrong. |

Re: Princess Maker 5 (AP,BE?)
you are wrong =p
I played Pm2 and Pm5, and I'm quite sure that a high stat in weight changes the appearance of the girl. She looks more chubby, but she's not really "fat". And even if she would weigh like 2 tons, the image would stay chubby |
