Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)

Well, to be fair... Carol Danvers has always been a bloodthirsty, violent woman that verges on antiheroic stuff from time to time.
She committed genocide against the Brood (to the point where the whole species fear her), actually stated she enjoyed killing Super-Skrulls in Secret Invasion, ripped the Moonstone from Karla Sofen's body and many other things.
Guess why 4chan's comics board refers to her as "Murdercarol"?

At least Kamala wised up and ditched Carol, but the damage is already done as all her allies and friends have abandoned her for backing the wrong horse.

Is that evil conversion though? Or is it just Carol facing her twisted principles (after 10 years)? Sometimes I wish those superhero stories would actually mean something, but that stuff always gets rebooted later.

Corruption like this can sometimes lead to it in comics. But you're right, it probably doesn't mean anything in the 'long run' and Marvel won't run with it. That only works in say DC where this kind of thing can commonly lead to a more conventional corruption.

I doubt Marvel will ever have their own "Injustice verse" or nearly as many equivalents of the endless "Bad End Timeline where Superman/batman/wonderwoman went completely evil and totally took over!" trends they rehash.
