Sure, I did actually post a sampler of comic-book EC Raven way back here; http://www.process-productions.com/f...postcount=4139, but off-the-wall fan-ECs are a lot of fun sometimes. That last sequence by Dragon-Fangx would've been great if it showed intellectual, reserved, Raven as a muscle-bound villain's goon (renamed Rook, or something) helping rob a bank in a sexy new costume. Doing thug things like pumping iron at the hideout, going "Yeah boss? Want me to bust some heads?", obsessed with physicality and strength, doing everything she can to enhance it, then having a heartbreaking confrontation with former teammates, good times. I think Raven was never very popular in her comic-book form. Also, her main original runs were well before fanfiction and fanart proliferated on the internet, and a lot of people have trouble connecting to anything "before their time" for some reason, not so for me, show me some ancient Sumerian EC involving "Inanna's Descent to the Netherworld" and I'll appreciate it just fine . -------------- Human fanart of Celestia-turned-evil-sorta; DayBreaker, from a recent episode http://racoonkun.deviantart.com/art/...aker-681972311 http://sd-hexwing.deviantart.com/art...-MLP-682285226 http://wubcakeva.deviantart.com/art/...aker-681758182 Droning http://re-maker.deviantart.com/art/D...sion-681609531 http://re-maker.deviantart.com/art/D...sion-681609485 Starfire turns evil, reshapes Raven's identity http://gojiro7.deviantart.com/art/Ev...odel-682798912 http://gojiro7.deviantart.com/art/Ev...n-OC-682800303 http://gojiro7.deviantart.com/art/Ev...cent-682801985 http://gojiro7.deviantart.com/art/Ev...teal-682800774 Vampire Jasmine http://nippy13.deviantart.com/art/JasVamp-678425829 Carnage Chun Li http://spit-fire233.deviantart.com/a...nage-600233697 Piranha Plant TF http://sera-fuku.deviantart.com/art/...l-TF-656928281 ------------- Quote:
While I'm at it, just in case it wasn't mentioned either, Gorilla Grodd also made Supergirl his evil servant in Supergirl #4. He also suggested he was going to transform her more to an even more brutish state, but he never did, the big tease. Oh, and in an oldie (1965) she gets turned into a demon compelled to commit evil, Action Comics #324; http://comicsalliance.com/bizarro-ba...upergirl-1965/ Last edited by Mazoku; 05-30-2017 at 02:31 AM. |

Goddamn, it would have been awesome to see Grodd "brutify" her. It's a shame it didn;t happen. Would you recommend these two comics for a full read?

I'd say they're worth checking out, though they're not great, they are full-fledged canon ECs at least, Supergirl is really into the villain role in both, and they're passably well fleshed out (though it's never quite enough, it would be nice to see EC that lasts more than one or two issues). Supergirl fought Superman viciously for her lord Darkseid. Grodd was subjugating people by "bringng out the beast" in them with some magical talisman called the Heart of Darkness. Actually the combo of Raven and Supergirl discussions reminds me that in "The New Titans" #120-121, Supergirl was corrupted by Raven; Last edited by Mazoku; 06-12-2017 at 02:29 PM. |

Re: Evil conversion(for the lack for better term)
Vaesark just continued his excellent Fallen series with Part 3. He's bummed out by piracy of his work, though. it's really an awesome series and he deserves support, especially for branching out into corruption. If you can, check it out and throw him a little funding to keep more installments coming.
