Is it my imagination, or is "corrupting heroes" suddenly a big thing at DC right now? It's as if they've creatively exhausted every other possible trope for superheroes, and are now flogging the "evil corruption" storytelling gimmick until it's just as dead as the other horses.

Marvel did an Evil Captain America and DC respond with 7 Evil Batmen
