Think of it as the British equivalent of white trash. "Jade" as a name is associated with chavs in the same way "Cletus" or "Brandine" would be associated with white trash.

I commissioned those a while back, when Goblin Slayer's first season was concluding. I really liked the idea of the person most frightened of goblins, and who is an avatar of the god of light, ending up as the total opposite side of the scales as a physical brute who enables the type of horrors that once scarred her.
