Re: Alice In Wonderland
FYI, my beady eyes comment was not a dissenting expression of opinion. I am in full agreement with both Qzar9999's and LK's thorough criticisms of the clip in question. Just wasn't expecting so much non-clothes rippage.
^_^ Someday the likes of the process scene from Attack of the 50ft Woman ('93) will be achieved to the thorough nature that the true growth process fans have been longing for. Then we might finally have the Alice in Wonderland experience rightfully deserved. Some...dayyyyy over the ripped clothes.......

You mean in a manner so masterfully and literally depicted as by the following writers, in Alice in Wonderland-esque stories? Quote:

Re: Alice In Wonderland
Technically the latest Alice movie wasn't an AiW movie if you've seen the Nostalgia Critic review of it Should be called Tim Burton's Grown Up Alice Returns to Underland!
Probably already been posted but 18:00 minutes in he talks about the pitfalls of growing cake in a fictional universe and why it doesn't work for balancing the WAR storyline out! Also 18:36 has the growth scene. As for a proper in-house growth scene I'm leaning, now, more towards Once Upon a Time as a one-episode plot that will later come back for the finale but as most of the cast has been reduced to just the regulars I doubt I will ever see a giant Ruby! Not sure if there were any growth/shrinking scenes in the Sorcerer's Apprentice as the current OUAT storyline seems to be taking that direction. |

This one is a slightly more obscure reference to the shrinking/growing part of AiW as it is a dance play thing. I think the guy dressed in black is supposed to represent the door or wonderland but not sure. Anyway it has an implied growth scene where Alice grows so big she breaks out of the building! Has a decent ode to Disney's AiW Rabbit's House scene starting from 3:55 to 5:00. |

In any case, if you didn't know yet the Alice spinoff had 2 shrinks (pilot and tiny Alice stealing from the Caterpillar) and a scene with her inside the Rabbit's tiny house. |

Re: Alice In Wonderland
Been a bit of slow start to the year with nothing new on the AiW front in terms of growth scenes but have noticed some of these fandubs of Disney's AiW if that counts and interestingly a lot of them are either the Doorknob or White Rabbit's House scene.
