Story idea up for adoption.

Here is an interesting story idea: Ever hear of the 50's B-Movie spoof "I Was a Teenage Werebear"? Well how about a slightly more serious take called, "I was a Teenage Weregirl" with a repressed Jock turning into a sassy greaser girl?

Anyone want to take this up?

I hate writing. I am more of an idea man. Being told "do it yourself" always feels condensing, like i am very uncomfortable doing something, so I ask for help.

That said, if you are interested...

If I had a dollar (about 90 dollars) for every person that contact me asking me to work on their "original idea"(normally to do with another IP but totally original they swear!)

but yes jokes aside you should do it yourself if you really wanna see it come to pass and others are not doing it.

There are places to go a hire writers, both genre specific, more commercial type offers, and generic commissioned writers who will have their will and will not lists. If you are willing to pay for the work I would recommend shopping around and finding some one to work with. As with most things in any industry, ideas are cheap, means of production is the value. Artists, writers, sculptors, programmers, ect. Their time and skills are valuable.

Well, first, you might want to edit your post because I don't see anywhere where you've said you would pay for it. You use 'adoption' in the thread post and then ask if anyone wants to 'take it up'. If you clearly say in your first post that you're willing to pay to commission it, then perhaps someone would be willing to do it once you work something out.

Otherwise, try the FA forums in the writing section there or one of the many commission channels on all the TF Discord server channels.

DA's services offered forum has some writers on it as well, you can also post a job offer in the seeking services forum. There are people like The Mighty Fenek who do commission story work also as I recall. Some light Google searching also brings up options.
