Symbiosis
Symbiotic Bonding - A Transformation
After some consideration, I've come to wonder if the process of symbiotic bonding, as seen in Marvel Comics famed symbiotes, represents a valid transformation in relation to those already discussed on the forum. The bonding process has many of the significant changes associated with other transformations, though they are not given emphasis until the process is complete. The symbiote, in addition to its own instincts, is influenced greatly in appearence, powers and disposition by its host; the symbiote enticing their darker inclinations and appetites out to manifest them in the singullar being that is created, similar in many ways to the more classical alter-ego. Examples of this are most famously seen in Eddie Brock (Venom), Cletus Kassidy (Carnage) and Donna Diego (Scream), along with other characters which can be found here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbiote_(comics) The transformation process culminates in a being which is both physically and mentally changed, often profoundly, in contrast to their original form. This leaves me wondering if this process is a valid topic or is too unorthodox in its approach. See you soon. |

There's a DA club dedicated to this topic.
