I've searched for any thread with a similar title on this forum, and came up with nothing. So I thought I might as well launch this official little celebration of a curious sub-sub-subgenre of TF/TG, where a character becomes an exact copy of...well, another character.

Honestly? I was pleased as punch, although I'm willing to admit it's the kind of TF concept that can very easily spiral out of control (probably another reason why it never really caught on). I mean, just look at all those crazy "Ash (from Pokemon) turns into..." drawings, most of them by the same guy. It's awfully hard to avoid seeming repetitive when the actual TF is all about repetition...so to speak.

Eh, I'm not too cozy with the word "fetish". I realize it's a little hypocritical of me to say that on a site which is supposed to be all about appealing to specific hang-ups, but for me, "fetishes" tend to involve physical objects, while something like transformation or "twinning" is a little more...abstract.
(Or maybe that's just me trying to make it sound less sordid. Who cares? NAKED LADIES!) Anyway...feel free to add your own collection to this thread. The more the merrier. |
