In the final 12th episode of the recent anime "Kantai Collection: KanColle",

the main boss monster girl evolves into a slightly older form out of anger

while regenerating from her damage. The process is visible, although the

screen angle and her long hair covering her body makes it a real shame.

She basically transforms from this form called Airfield princess:


to this form called Midway princess:



In the original game that the anime is based on, there is also this younger form called Northern princess.

Too bad she didn't begin this way in the anime.
