my full blow tg comic (Playing both sides) by Jimbo
hey there, most might remember me as Jimbo the lurker who posted a few short TG and TF sequence comics based on my short TG story called Playing both sides. its taken a lot of time and money but I have all the tools and equipment to do the task of making it into a full comic (also moving house took a lot out of me) most of it will be uploaded on my DA under Jimbo8472. and I may post on here from time to time about new content, I don't have anything right now but I just want you guys to have something to look forward to. any other detail you might want to know just ask here or pm me. also feedback is always welcome.
wish me luck and keep an eye out in the next few months. thanks Jim. |

Link for the lazy.
Added you to my watch. Question, will the comic be the same quality as your other uploads? Namely the method of uploading? It seems you are taking pictures of the drawings, which produces a sort of glare on some of the drawings. Ignoring the medium of uploading, though, I do like the art style and look forward to a comic.

no no, what you saw before was my lazy doodles and snaps I did one page a night after work, I have scanner, pen table and paint shop software now, been working on the original short story its more of a script now. the process will play a big part but I wish to focus on the story aspect too.
I have other friends who draw and give me hints and I'm really trying to get good at the manga style but I want to have my own sense of style too. getting good with markers is something I want to try too. like the old story the plot is all about playing both sides, the whole best friend is also secretly his girlfriend too and makes use of having both gender roles to get what one wants. also want it to reflect my feel about life and want it to be very English since that's where I'm from. I think about how much gender roles play a huge part in our lives. feed back and hints always cheer me up and make me want to work harder. anything else anyone wants me to shed light on |

Artistically, I can only suggest that you really study anatomy. Also, check out some of the 3D comics that are rendered to get a decent idea of how to give the proper angles and perspectives of the human form.

Yes, have a lot of books that teach such things. But I'm not aiming for hyper realistic on my part. Its been a long time since I drew every day. Will take me time to get my skill back. If books about doing your own comic told me alot "theres no wrong way".

here's an idea I have for the first cover I like the split down the middle it reminds me of a mirror trick.
the rest of what I have is just scribbles till I'm done setting up my work desk in my new home. the light's not good in this new room. anyways enjoy. and thanks for showing interest. |

Re: my full blow tg comic (Playing both sides) by Jimbo
since I don't have to work the whole day tomorrow I have been colouring a lot of the casts test pages
here what Rebecca's 3rd incarnation looks like I hope I get better at drawing girls its something I always struggle with. this is a new character called Sophie, she's a bar maid who's going to be part of the supporting cast. I find goth girls very cute at times but a lot of them always seem to go overboard with the look or am I missing something? I have some other male cast members too. I hope they play well of each others. books tell me that half the hard work. |

more coloured cast pages, this is Sarah want to be able to do other body types. not all women are thin and leggy next I'll do the males.
