To each his own; personally, I find that more clothes for the girl to shrink out of is always better. Besides, those "schoolgirl socks" are pretty cute IMO.

The only time I do prefer a girl to go without socks (whether in shrinking, AR or TF) is when she's wearing sandals; that way we get a good look at her feet as she shrinks/regresses/transforms.
