MLP Growth Animation

Spent all day yesterday working on a short animation sequence! It's not entirely the best thing in the world; I've got lots of learning to do before I can call my animation "good". But it's something, and I figured maybe someone over here would get a kick out of it.

The animation can be found over at http://goattrain.tumblr.com/post/124...say-about-9-10 since apparently it doesn't want to upload here. Sorry about that!

EDIT (August 12): Might as well make this a general thread for all the pony process stuff I'll be doing, since that seems to be a niche I tend to fill pretty often, either through commissions or otherwise. Added five-panel growth comic!

It wasn't terribly easy, but that's mostly because I still have a lot to learn. But with any luck, I'll be able to try animation more frequently, and if they end up process-related, I'll drop them off here!

Moved, because ponies.

Nicely drawn, though.

Re: MLP Growth Animation

To be honest, I cannot stand ponies.

But that is some amazing work.

Whoops, my bad! I didn't know there was a rule against ponies here.
I guess content like this goes in the "And Everything Else..." subforum now? I'll be more mindful of that in the future.

Agreed ^^; I can't stand them either, now if it was that human form they have in that one show, I could stand that a LOT better. But regardless how I feel about MLP, this was very well done. Great work!

I do actually plan on doing some human growth animation stuff when I can. Ponies are a lot simpler to draw though, so that's one of the reasons I went in that direction. Animating's hard enough for me right now, so anything I could do to make it easier on me. Again, sorry for raising any ire over small horses - that definitely wasn't my intention.

Re: MLP Growth Animation

Though I do enjoy ponies my macrophillia does not carry over to it. Nicely drawn and animated though very fluid.

That's understandable, I'm glad to hear you will be trying humans, which you if you do, needs to go into the GTS forum on here ^^ But anyways, don't be sorry. If that is what you are into, more power to you. It's just ponies are not liked a lot ^^; But the animation was great, so you should be proud of that Astarothathros I hope you do make a human GTS animation someday, but keep doing what you like. Just be sure to post it in the right Forum folder next time ^^; Even though I am guilty of that just recently
