Le Chevalier D'Eon: Teenager to Poet-Sorceress

Hi There,


I am somewhat uncertain where to place this interesting specimen, thus I decided here would be my safest bet.


To understand, this one will require some context to situate the transformation.


The story of Le Chevalier D'Eon is set in mid 18th century France, Paris. It has the lead character D'Eon, a male secret police officer becoming the vessel for his sister's soul to hunt a secret group of poet-alchemists/sorcerers which are responsible for much unrest and, particularly, her death.


As the story develops there is much intrigue, dark mysticism and combat as the hero/heroine delves deeper into their world. This soon brings them up against the twins, Ange and Emma. Ange is killed in combat and Emma is left grieving and substantially de-powered.


As the story becomes more complex, the mysterious figure of Le comte de Saint Germain enters; a powerful magician claiming to be immortal who meets Emma by her sister's grave side. In turn, he wishes to grant her new powers but the ultimate ends of this action are unknown as the manga is currently not finished.


She tentatively accepts this offer and is remade as the forum can see here. The change is quite pronounced, being enhanced in all ways...

In a fashion, yes and no. One of the central themes of the manga is the transformation of D'Eon to his deceased sister Lia, through possession; first simply an act of crossdressing then wholly magical in nature.


Unfortunately, the magical aspect is simply a morph with little actual detail from one to the other; although it is done with much visual effect and imposing ambience.


There is the possibility for future transformations; as the theme of the manga itself is very much that of transfiguration, with a few characters undergoing one, but with very limited detail for it.

Hm, very nice, quite intricate, deep, and aesthetically pleasing. If the character wasn't a villain to begin with this would have been a good addition to the "Evil Conversion" thread in the Transformation section.

Transformations from dark to darker aren't usually as interesting as the light to dark ones; heroine to villain, but this is very well done, especially since there's a big jump in sexiness, which is the main point anyway.
