BlooberBoy ArtTrade (Subi-chan with the wind)
A little while back BlooberBoy asked me to do an art trade with him. He is one of the newer great inflation artists at DA for a note. I aksed him to do a drawing of Subi-chan of course. Here is the result.
http://www.deviantart.com/view/32061345/ I hope everyone enjoys it. I sure do. ^_^ That reminds me. I really have to start on my half of the trade. >_< |

Saw this on DA.
He is fairly good. He has a good grasp on color and his linework helps promote a feeling of rounded softness one would expect given the circumstances. Can't wait to see your end. Are you drawing his character(s)? Or are you drawing something different? |

I have also noticed an "hourglass trend". It seems that when it comes to expansion, that is the current prefered method. Either that or it just happens to be where I'm looking. I look forward to it. |

Hourglass = BE +Butt and sometimes hips/legs as well. The point is to inflate the top and bottom as much as you can without inflating anything in the middle. And yeah, it seems to be Blooberboy's favorite MO, though damn if he doesn't do a fine job of it...

Heh, kinda funny to remember back in the day when I was about the only person who really pushed for the whole hourglass "hourgas" thing. At the time it was all either BE or full body roundness. Me, I just had to try writing stuff or purchasing art that involved totally curved out shapes. ... Great, now I feel crushingly old. Seritaph = Sievert |
