Smile TG Comics New Look

So, by now all of you have already know that TGComics has an all new look for the site. Got to say, it is really interesting with the front page showing previews of what's going to come.

The main complaint I have is that most of the artwork in the past has been removed from the site, just to improve on the design. I'm certain it has something to do with the experimentation of the page, but honestly keep the old pictures you've got. It's easy to find Cluedog, C. Black, and other great artists comics and sequences.

Well, femur did say it was all being re-uploaded but building a new site from scratch will take significantly longer with that much material. Not sure why everyone is complaining about a short term issue 2 days after the site came back up.

My main complaint is that so much of the content is pay-site now. I miss when the site was 100% free.

Re: TG Comics New Look

That was a pretty long time ago - there have been pay projects on there for years now. And there hasn't been as much new stuff uploaded recently because of the site transition. I know of a few free projects that were finished a long time ago but there wasn't any point uploading them to the old site.

Femur is still in the process of fixing up the site and re-adding the old content (including works of mine). Have patience; the content should return.

Really there is still quite a bit of free stuff of pretty good quality if you ask me.

Re: TG Comics New Look

Honestly the only thing I like about the new site is the coming soon previews. I liked the old site. it was easy to navigate, loaded quickly, and honestly didn't really need a visual overhaul. Maybe the content pages themselves could have used a rework, but a whole site overhaul seems excessive.

I'll have a real opinion in a few months though, since I'm not used to it yet to truly say I don't like it.

Or free content suddenly becomes premium, like Saphire Fox's stealing from sis.

Most of CBlacks stuff was free back on the siren song too.

They'll slowly be adding all of the free comics back in. Or so Femur says. I don't doubt it though.

I am seeing the comics slowly being imported. Let's have patience, folks.

Well, any animation released free stayed free. Only the newer additions were premium. Given, I still think it should have remained free, since he doesn't really give any preview of his new art style and how smooth the transformations are now to people who haven't paid yet.
