I'm willing to bet it was the folks at Lustomic. There were a few threads dedicated to their material, all of which is supposed to be paid for.

Then again, AnonIB had a whole board for it, and the board simply vanished when a complaint arose. So maybe it's a bitchier group that isn't satisfied with 'Cease thine theft'.

i do rember seeing about 4-5 posts on some sections about calims of stealing paided artworking and hosting it :/ ... just have to wait and see what happens in anything... the white screen that it has become hurts my eyes XD

I remember reading somewhere that it was something in the goo section that caused it. Everythings been sorted out, just the person who is actually hosting it hasn't gotton around to putting the server back up yet. But from what it said, he's not quite sure if/when he will be able to bring it up.

I think it's more an issue of, and I suppose rightly so, that we and other similar communities get pissed whenever someone steals the shit of somone we "know" or someone who's work directly adds to our community, because then there is the threat they'll get pissed and stop.

Does this make us hypocritical, that we defend our own and gladly take whatever material we want from oneone and everwhere else, and justify said taking? Maybe, but it's also normal, logical behavior that probably isn't going to change anytime soon.
