Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

Well, this comes as a shock to me. If this is true, then let me say some final words myself. *ahum*

Thanks Lore, for the years that you've been here keeping this forum and the site up. If it wasn't for this forum, i would've probably never (orrr wayyyy later) started to actually draw Giantess, body expansion, and of course breast expansion. So in a way, thanks, to Lore and everyone on here that supported my work from the very beginning. Hopefully we'll all still see most of each other over on Deviantart!

Thanks again

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

This forum has always been a bastion of the unusual, both in users and interests. However, I have been grateful for both in my life. The dialoque and the content made me confront who I am and how I feel about things both fetish and reality. This IS one place that granted all of us the opportunity to gather under the same flag, though with individual intent, and be a part of a rather lively community. Like all the honored sites that went before their time, we salute all of those involved and wish them the best.

To put it simply. Lorekeep, Thank You.

Old, frequent lurker here. Very saddened by this news! I agree with what some others are saying. At the very least, make the databases, etc available to download so that the forums may be restored elsewhere!

There's a very rare community here and it would be a great shame to simply let it go. Please consider passing the torch in some form.

Either way, thanks for everything!

The way some people are posting sounds as though they're having a child taken away or losing a limb. That's totally OK; I'm not deeming anyone's feelings invalid. It's just funny from my perspective because I don't understand it.

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

For me, it's because hte Process has been a part of my routine for over 12 years. And a lot of who I've come to be is directly a result of this site, nad hte people I've met here. This place taught me that I'm not a bad person just for being into weird things, and that I cna be ok with myself there, which led me to start accepting myself in other aspects. The people I've met because of this site, including the person I cna truely say I love, have been a huge part in helping me ot shape myself into what I want ot be, rather than what my family would have limited me as.

This place has provided me a playground ot try out new things, nad learn more about myself i nthe last 6 years that hte forum has been here, than some people learn in 60 years. I know that sounds very out there, but it's true.

This place will always hold a special meaning to me, and so will hte people I've seen every day for the last 6 years. There are so many things I cna look back on nad relate directly to this place.

And I want ot make it clear, in case that my being tired makes me sound snippy, that I don't mean ot post this is any sort of retalitory manner. I just want ot elaborate a bit on why it means so much to me, enouhg that I felt I had to voice it. ^_^

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

Well let me be the first to say that this is completer and utter bullshit. Sites come and go but is this really the way you wanna go out? "Thanks for nothing, don't let the door hit you." I mean WTF man? Even if you're not one for touchy words, don't you think those of us that have been here for years and years deserve just a few sentences? A few fluffy, "It's been a long run but it's time for me to get a move on," type nonsense that most anyone else would have no problem spending 5 minutes on?

It's not cool. And I say this from the position of a peer, not some troglodyte. If it's a gag, I'm happy to laugh with you on April 2nd. If it's not, it's a fucked up way to go about things.

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

I've been frequently lurking on this site for what seems like forever (no way its been 12 years...). I never really got involved in contributing (as I have no real skills) but I came here at least 4-5 times a week to see the latest art or read the stories.

This was one of those sites I thought would never go away. Posting rates were always pretty strong and more and more new artists and writers kept showing up and the community (for the most part) was very supportive.

Lorekeep, thank you for hosting this site and bringing all these like-minded people together for all these years. You've been doing a great service to this community for 15 years an had an amazing run. Seriously, you rock. I can't even imagine the effort it took to support this site.

Goodbye,

A fan

Why do I feel like this is somehow like the year without a santa claus?

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

Well this sucks. I've barely posted in the past year or so mind you, but I still checked out this place daily. There were so many people I met, and media that I never would have heard of, had I not come here. I've been here since 2005 or so, but I guess we all got to move on at one point. See you at Giantess City or where ever you end up at.

Well, its been a good run. I remember back when I first stumbled across this place saying WTF is this place? Making zombie posts getting called a noob. Good times. Lor thank you, thank you for giving me a place where I could explore my interests and talk to others who shared those interests these past years.
