Thing is DC don't really cares about Superman movies. They're doing them so they don't have to give back the license to the families of the creators. There's this court ruling that say that if DC don't get a Superman movie produced within ten years from one another, the families get Superman back, or something akind to this. So WB (for people that don't know, they own DC) do everything to keep Superman, cuz it'd be a huge blow to DC if they were to lose Superman.
