the worst and inconviniant times and places to start transforming into something

Working on my comic and stories times and setting are tricky to think about.

Humans are very public animals and most so called normal persons care a lot what others think when they are out and about. Being a setting or place thats true to life or full of fantasy. Where and when would be a bad time to start transforming into something else be it an animal or changing sex or into a completly differnt person. How would someone feel what would others think or say? Friends or family members? Strangers, maybe some has a lover who finds a transforming mate kinky. How would the subject deal with it?

Any settings or triggers that interest you guys?

Thoughts on the matter? Its good feedback for my ideas too.

*On mass transportation (subway, bus, airplane)
* In a zoo (and subsequently thought to be an escaped exhibit animal)
* In a particular tight place, like an elevator (especially if becoming a large animal)
* While on stage or live television (even if weres or TFs are known, it could be embarrassing that he couldn't control it, somewhat like going to the bathroom)

These are the most embarrassing or inconvenient places I could think of. As for the rest, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking.

Just kiddin'. A particularly inconvenient and embarrassing setting would, well, be any public setting; at the store, on a romantic date, at work, in school, etc. Or, perhaps a more private but intimate setting, such as with close friends or dinner with the family.

Family members might be shocked, but try and offer support during the change which, personally, would only make it all the more humiliating and embarrassing.

Being forced to change by a kinky lover would fall under the category of loss of control, which is extremely embarrassing to most people. The mate woule probably get a thrill from this.

It always makes me think of others having that dream where they naked in public. What if they change back? Waking up miles away without your clothes or worse still wearing the wrong genders clothing without any idea how you got there would freak out many.


Also dealing with the urges that a change might bring with. (The urge to shed ones clothing with no idea why?)

well I'm part of the TSA-Talk list (Transformation Stories Archive) and back in the late 90s we did a shared story project about ourselves (or avatars of ourselves) turning in characters we create for other stories or as online personas. So yea "in public" was a setting for most of the the transformations.

The location, a public bus and the transformation did not include clothes. So super Awkwardness as male human clothes aren't meant for hooves and winged ladies, so combo of inconvience, inciteing public panic and forced public nudiy

The natural habitat of said animal or creature they change into is big factor too. Like turning into aquatic being like a fish or merperson being "stuck" in sea or water. Needing water or air from the water to keep living. Or leaving the water and have ones body start to dry out and hurt would be scary.

Transforming into an animal in the middle of a business meeting. Female CEO of a big company in board meeting with major shareholders kind of thing. I think turning into a small animal in that situation makes it worse, going from a position of power to a tiny helpless thing, a mouse, a house cat, rabbit maybe.

Female teacher, or student, transforming in front of a full classroom.
