How about at the Barbers/ hair salon. The barber/stylist starts working away as normal then suddenly hair starts growing back at an alarming rate becoming fur and noticing long or pointy ears that are able to move on their own. And the subject is able to see whats happing in the mirrors. Other changes happening under the smock to catch the hair.
