Re: MIA: The Death List

I haven't seen DMA post anything in quite awhile, but then again, I might just be going sane haha.

Way I recall it dma was more interested in paid commissions then drooling freeloader
fanboys. When the money dried up in the tf field he went back to the
more lucrative furry market.

I think Naga took over the forum he'd had at one point

Re: MIA: The Death List

Given the problems with Transfur in general (check out Pokemon Jim's problems with trying to update >.<) anyone "dead" there might be active just moved.

Someone who is MIA is Werecoon, last I heard he was working retail somewhere in deepest darkest England.

The reason some artists blame the community for them leaving is because I can sympathize with them on a personal level even though im still a noob. We as artists like to hear feedback from more than 5 or 6 people on a board that has 1000's of members *cough* We crave feedback because we are always looking for ways to improve our talents. Don't think we are fishing for comments all the time, but more feedback is appreciated.

Agreed I think a few of us have had a lack of feedback over the years. I know posting up on my original first port of call (Yahoo Groups) was and still is very one sided experince which makes you think why bother. Then I remembered I do what I do is much for me as well anybody else. Besides places like DA are more feedback friendly to the artist..

But lurking around leaching people's creative output with no feedback is bad for the community.

Re: MIA: The Death List

I just finished talking with Soty and informed him he is officially on "bigfoot" status.

He says he is still having RL issues that prevent him from having internet at his domicile, but he checks his email regularly on public computers. So if anyone needs to to get in touch with him, email is the best way(can be found on his website, too lazy to go to his site right now =p)

So I think his status might be downgraded from "bigfoot" to "chupacabra" or something along those lines =P

Re: MIA: The Death List

personally i dont crave the feedback nor let it affect me.
i just want to share whatever thing i make to all of you guys and girls.
just dont have much time to create as many as i would like. real life can be time consuming and difficult to create more things

His transfur account still existed a few months ago.
