Re: Jenn & Sarah

Welcome to the forum, and great first post. It's nice to see fellow artists.

Only minor critiques I'd have to say are that I'm unsure how the muscles are being portrayed around the hips on the left image (it looks like the buns are trying to be emphasized but I don't know if they'd show from a frontal view), and the frame of her face looks slightly jagged in the right image. The ear looks a tad tiny, but that could easily be a style aspect.

Some very good aspects are the intricate details on the tiny wrinkles on the bikini on the left image, the thong is stretched realistically, and the poses are nicely dynamic, not just completely static standing poses.

I just want to try and provide more commentary than "lol nice boobs" or something.

You know, there are other kinds of commentary you can provide other then critique.

If I may criticize you in turn, constantly critiquing the majority of drawings you come across, even when the amount of visual errors in the drawing are very slim, it starts to come off as nitpicking, and that tends to annoy artists fairly quickly. I mean, it wouldn't have been so bad if you didn't just jump right to it. But you didn't even ask about the drawing or the artist. You just jumped right into the critique as if the artist asked it of you. It's like it was some kind of planned business transaction.

I realize what you are trying to do, because yes, "lol nice boobs" gets old quickly. But, let us not overcompensate.

Re: Jenn & Sarah

Hey, without proper criticism how are we to improve?
It is true that some critics can be down right insulting,
but that is not the case here.

Re: Jenn & Sarah

dude nice pic. well done

/edit: well seeing the older poses after already posting a lame 5 words i think ill try to make up for it.

Two lovley young ladies walking down the beach. talking and laughing they sway back and forth to what ever cosmic force animates all thoes that call this place home. their faces filled with joy but not hardly as much as thoes who witness their passing.
Filled to the brim with jiggling breast flesh their suits strain to contain what brings such joy to all around. Yet it is a losing battle. The girls breasts have but begun to grow and show no signs of stoping their ever so slow march to greatness.
Soon the crowd will be rewarded for their patience and the girls will be rewarded with new bathing suits by which ever of the local boys can get himself together enough to treat them to a shoping spree. meanwhile the others will be left with but a fleeting glimps of true beauty.

Nah, it's okay. To be honest, it both irks and pleases me when people criticize too much, as I myself know that I'm not at a level where I can pull off a single drawing 100% free of errors. So as long as it's constructive criticism, it's all welcome :P

Also, I do have a DA account, but you won't find any BE or fetishes in there; my main focus is actually mecha stuff. Like John Su or similar people, I prefer to keep it clean of any art that might attract... the wrong audience, so to speak. I don't plan on making another one either, so I'll probably post stuff here every now and then.

If anyone requests it though, I can either post the url or just PM it.

I feel the same way about critique, but I guess I slightly like it a bit more because I always want to improve, and it's nice to see when someone actually takes the time to carefully look at a drawing that I spent a good deal of time and effort to produce. I know other artists can take a lot of time into their work, so I try to put some effort into my replies as well. Critique with nothing good to say about the work does irritate me, so I always try to include what I really liked about the drawing, because everyone not only has weaknesses to work on, but strengths to emphasize on as well.

Lol, John. I'm his scapegoat when it comes to posting some of his oppai works. He actually doodled another pic for my b-day, so I might post it as a webcam later.

And you draw mecha? That's awesome. :] I suck at mechanical designs, so could I maybe have your dA link to check out?
