How about two girls at once? Maybe a girl accidentally infects her friend with lycanthropy, but only realizes it just as the moon is rising and has to break the news to her and keep her inside. I love it when the transformations are impending and getting to safety is critical, it adds a great edge (your story "Woman to Werewolf" was excellent!)
