The "Official" TG Caption Thread

So I found a caption I made like last year, it ended up getting deleted off of deviantart for that "Im stealing art by writing a caption bull."


Here's some poor sap turning into a lifeless girl...or Rei, whichever name you prefer.

Best part, someone posted it on photobucket under my name. That was awesome. My crap is worth being stolen.

I always love your captions Aikan, especially the fact that the victim is always futility trying to run away from away from your attacks on him. Great job as always!

I try to go with something that ISN'T the mainstream TG. So far the most common variaties I see all involve "Oh I iz boy, look at my boyish charm" "POW! Haha!" "Oh no I haz girly parts, oh no I haz boobz, wait... what? Oh hey there, SEX NAO" "Ok har har har".

Not insulting anyone on this thread though, none of the ones developed on the process are (Thankfully) like that. I speak of the content I've seen elsewhere... which saddens me.

So I try to at least make it entertaining, so if you aren't enjoying the TG your enjoying the lead up and aftermath OF the TG. And if all else fails... I try to make the captions high quality. I always hated squinting to read people who's JPEGs were constructed by monkeys with stubs for hands.

Yea, there are several sites where they just have captions with nothing involved as what you said. I know exactly what you mean with all of it being "Breats, sex, slut, sex, sex ect. ect." Sometimes I feel that my captions aren't even good enough to post, sometimes I feel the quality is horrible and that's why I stopped making captions for a long time. All I really have to work with is microsoft paint and I'm horrible with that.

I use a program called Paint.net, which is free and basically Microsoft Paint.... HIGH DEFINITION. Most it's tools are basic but it A) Works if you want cheap photo manip., and B) Allows you to actually save your files and choose their quality and memory.

So with that in mind I use Paint but make the actual captions in Microsoft Word. Place the pictures and organize the text here. Then when it's set and ready I screenshot it all into Paint.net to save as a jpeg.

And thus the story on how you guys keep getting long-arse stories with poor humor and lots of repeats of the words 'boobs' 'breasts' 'butt' and so forth!

...but anyways I know how you feel, the whole 'not good enough' thing. I ask for criticism or at least a comment because otherwise I feel like I'm doing it for nothing. In fact I quit for a while because only five people said 'oh hey, nice work!'. I restarted because I found a pic and thought 'That looks like Sanji if he were.... oooo this could be funny.'

I know what you mean with the small amount of people looking at captions. I know it sounds wrong but that's the only reason I have a deviantart account. I posted 2 captions the other day and my page views went up from 50 per day to over 300 that day and 200 the day after. It's kind of an ego boost too seeing so many people favorite it, but then again it's kind of a drag when the same "13 year old boys" keep asking you to turn them into ugly looking princesses or whatnot.


Also, fyi Sanji. Aikan isn't the only one who is gonna be out to make your life hectic soon. I'm almost done with a new one just for you.

After yesterday I decided to go back through these pages to get a better look at the caps. I found out that I missed a few. Love all them all!
