MTV Teen Wolf Female TF

Not that I expect much given their definition of what a "werewolf" is based on the very little I saw of the show. But...it's worth pointing out this tidbit I found on Season 2 spoilers:

"There will be a female werewolf: But it might not be Lydia. Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf's executive producer, has promised a female werewolf transformation in season 2, but of course he's not going to spoil Lydia's season-1 cliffhanger by giving away any more details than that."

Sorry if this has already been posted (since it's a relatively old story.) I did a search and found nothing mentioned. Given the quality of the show from what I saw, I'm not surprised no one has mentioned it yet.

We have some brave sorts here, but I don't think anyone here has the endurance needed to watch that show.

Does the werewolf forum (blanking on their exact name) have a thread for that show? Hopefully we can get them to do the heavy watching for us.

As I've seen on the show, just the "alpha" becomes a "full werewolf", so just expect girls with some facial hair, fangs and long nails... well, nothing you cannot see in a disco at 2:00 AM any saturday xD.

That forum does, and Teen Wolf, judging by the critical and popular consensus, is actually a pretty good show, despite the MTV accoutrements. But as Anahki said, unless the female is the Alpha (highly unlikely), you'll get an Omega Werewolf transformation, not a full one.

I did catch about 20 minutes of it to see how low the budget was. The non-alpha TF is basically dime store plastic fangs, contact lenses, Lee Press-on-Nails and some hair gel. I didn't see an alpha TF, but my guess is that they covered them in honey and had them roll around a barber shop floor.

The actual show seemed awful from what I saw. I don't know who the critics are that gave it the strong reviews, but my guess is that they very likely had Justin Bieber posters looking over their shoulders as they typed.

Well, I'm not exactly a "defensor" of the show. Certainly, I don't watch it save for some lone scenes in Internet, but the werewolf "alpha" doesn't look too bad done.

Or they watched more than 20 minutes. That's more plausible than a massive conspiracy of Justin Bieber fans. The omega werewolf look is limited but the make-up is of fine quality. The Alpha looks quite different--more like the classic wolf-monster--and was represented by CGI and a guy in a suit. The latter looked quite good.

There's no reason why the make-up for the female beta werewolves (I was mistaken when I said omega--those haven't been seen yet) should be less than that of the male betas. No need to be pessimistic rather than realistic.

No, there is a reason. They're female, and it's MTV. Since "hairy" and "sexy" don't go hand-in-hand with most people it's a strong possibility it'll just be fangs and claws.
