That might not be the site, it could be a rogue ad.
Tell me, do you get the same warning from anything besides IE?

Just saying, stay FAR the fuck away from those ads... PAV is one of the nasties masquerading as legit antimalware apps.

Pretty sure this entire thread said things to that effect, I'm guessing you didn't see those posts?
It's a fair cop, but honestly - I work in IT - if you're running stock unmodified MSIE, you deserve every thing you get.
I'm tired of being Microsoft's apologist around here, they're a bunch of fucking morons for letting half their shit go out.

For the record, yes; I do get to be pissed off about this.
I provided the links because somebody expressed concern, and they got glossed over.
I can't tell you how appreciative I am when people blatantly ignore an effort to keep them safe.

i wasn't saying your link was where the bug came from, i just couldn't get to it, so i asked to see if it was just me, then i noticed the remarks about the site an scanned, it found something and i can't kill it so i edited my post since forums don't like double posting to seek help... im not a PC expert-"unmodified MSIE"? sorry if you thought i was accusing you or something

I should clarify a couple things.

1. That doesn't really matter that much anymore, the common factor tends to be vulnerabilities in Flash (rogue Flash ads).
That's pretty much been the case since IE 7, and it's not browser-dependent.
That's what makes it so much more severe.

2. I'm not saying that you're accusing me of anything.
I'm saying that trusting Internet Explorer to just be both up-to-date and secure has mindnumbingly disastrous consequences.
I uploaded the file so that people who might be attacked by rogue ads wouldn't have to worry about them.
So, yes, I'm a little pissed off that I basically just got steamrolled in the rush to a "bad site".
To be fair, though, you probably just missed the upload.
That hurts me more than it angers me, because it feels like I just did all that for nothing.
