Ha, yeah, no kidding.
The whole thing is twenty-seven pages unedited.

I'm working on it right now; "chapter one" as such took three hours to sort out.

The imagery is fantastic, but the prose can use some work.

EDIT:
For the record, twenty chapters, plus Foreword and Epilogue.
33 pages after chapter divisions.
50+ pages once editing is done.

STATUS
Chapter 1: DONE - Words In: 1211; Words Out: 1194
Chapters 2 - 20: PENDING
Epilogue: DONE - Words In: 94; Words Out: 87

I think character count is up on those words, though; I'm trying to go more for descriptive than wordy, while fixing the passive voice issues prevalent in the text.
I'd love to see things like the Estate in greater detail, but I realize that'd detract from the more adult goal of this text.
