The best writing.com shrinking thread for my tastes was "slowly shrinking." It was a horribly sad day when it was suddenly deleted. I think someone went off the deep end and posted something really bad in it. Why the powers that be couldn't have deleted just the offending posts, I don't know.

I am still mad about it.

I used google cache to save a few bits of the story but it doesn't really flow anymore I don't think. I wonder if I could paste some of it together in a coherant manner..

Oh, well, I highly recommend anyone who has a favorite story thread on writing.com to save the pages you like to your HD.
