Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

This was the very first internet forum I joined. I will miss it, now. It's been fun, guys...

In the meantime, I'll be lurking around Giantess City as minute_man42, and ZZZ's new forum as Jaebird.

I wouldn't go that far. Personally, I just really enjoy the company here. Sure, there are other forums where you might share a common interest with other people, but I just feel like this is a place where you can just unwind. Kinda like a local joint you might go to where everyone (kinda) knows your name. Speaking of which:

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

I'm torn here. Yes, Lorekeep deserves tanks (and thanks — typo was too good to pass up) and praise for keeping The Process going for so long.
On the other hand, taking down a community with so little concern for the members thereof (At least there's the decency to give a little warning, but that's cold comfort), and without their opinions or input? And "final and irrevocable decision"? That's just a dick move, an utterly selfish dick move.
Whether it accurately portrays his feelings on the matter or not, this reeks of self-importance, like "I'm the only one who can run this, and if I can't then nobody can".

So yeah, thanks for the happy times, but what an unduly shitty closure!

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

About a decade ago, I came across a book featuring old B-Movie monsters. There I came across the famous poster for Attack of the 50 foot Woman, and unwittingly made my first steps into manhood.

If not for "The Process," these early feelings may have simply been pushed aside out of confusion. Without this site, I may have never discovered a major part of myself or met such an amazing collection of funny, talented people.

This site taught me that I wasn't alone, and that it was okay to have the weird tastes that I do.

Thanks for everything, Lorekeep.

I suppose we could just use one of the many forum hosting sites out there and all migrate to it once this place closes it's hyperlinks for the last time. I used to visit Yuku almost everyday and it's a nice forum hosting site. I'd hate to see us all get stranded like survivors of a boat wreck, lol.

What a rotten thing to wake up to.

The Process will always be the pinnacle of the TF community in my mind. It almost feels like my own, so close to my ideal vision. You have women, they transform, and we see them transform. Simple. Beautiful. No one else tries. No one else shares that vision. Only Lorekeep built a site to focus on the change itself, neatly avoiding crossover with unrelated fetishes.

I salute you, sir, and my penis salutes you. You have brought great joy into the world. All the best in your future endeavors, whatever they may be.

Re: Lorekeep, Thank you

I hope it's all just an April Fool's prank, a bit of an egotistical one perhaps, but I'd take a bad joke over a real show stopper any day of the week. I have gotten into contact with a few people that can probably help set up a new forum or keep this forum up and running as it is now. I'm trying to work things out now in case Lorekeep is being serious so that by the time the deadline is here everybody will be able to make the transition to the new forum or perhaps not have to do anything at all. It all depends on Lorekeep. I will keep you all informed.

I'm talking to people about ownership transfer. Bozo and Seadog make very valid points and remind me about patterns of behavior in my life.

I want names changed and my identity removed. But the data will likely be intact under new ownership within the next several weeks.
