Hmm, maybe wiki has some info on shark skeletons that you could use. Couldn't hurt to check.

Re: sodacat writes things

Updated both the first post and my deviant art with another story. This one is technically part of a project I sort of tried to start about a year ago, where I would write stories based on every video game I own. They would only use the settings and themes of the games, however, because I don't want to write fanfiction. This one is based on Way of the Samurai 3, and the setting of a small district caught between much larger players in the warring states.

The story is about a wandering samurai who gets caught up in the troubles of the town before he even realises what they are. This half of the story has a hornet transformation, and the next half (whenever I get around to writing it) should have one too.

I should have had this finished last wensday, but my trip to San Francisco for a B'z concert threw that out of wack. The next story I write should be up sooner. I don't think I'm going to like writing it, but I think some people here will enjoy it, and it's already been formed in my head so I don't have much choice but to write it.

Re: sodacat writes things

So that story I intended to write for this update (which was also intended to be done last sunday) kind of died, so I've been writing other things instead. The one that I got to finishing is, I think, based on an idea I had awhile back of "What if James Bond fought a werewolf?" That premise will probably get your hopes up a little high, though, as the actual transformation part ended up being kind of brief.

There is a good chance that the next story I finish will have a detailed werewolf transformation scene, however.

As always, it's been uploaded as both a PDF and to my deviantart.

Man what if James Bond not only fought a werewolf but also a werewolv megalomanyacal villain who wanted to transform everyone into werewolves? Something like The Satanic Doctor Wolf or Wolf Finger or maybe The Man With the Wolven Gun and even From Russia With Wolf. Kinda like the idea ^^.

Re: sodacat writes things

The past few months have been filled most with my novel (which has TF, but is not a TF novel) and a few non-TF stories. Today, however, I finished a short story that very certainly has some werewolf TF in it, as well as a whole lotta body horror. It's based on a dream I had last week, and I think it even came out as a mostly coherent story.

I didn't really feel like making a pdf on it, so please let me know if you'd prefer it in that format.

Read it on DA a few minutes ago. I liked the description of the TF, especially the beginning parts. That sounds like one helluva dream you had.

Re: sodacat writes things

Thanks for reading it. I still feel as if I haven't quite hit on the zeitgeist of either the community, or of making a compelling story, but I think I can get closer to both with time.

I don't know, I'm actually quite interested in the premise of the most recent story, the issue is its the kind of thing I want to click the next chapter button for on reflex.... only to find its not there.

Re: sodacat writes things

Oh dear. As rewarding as that is to hear I can't promise anything about continuing it. At the moment I have no idea where it would go (well, I have ideas, but not story ideas). I think I'll finish a story soon that TF-Viewer might enjoy.

On a related note does anyone know how to get text to look pretty on DA? You'd think they'd make a FAQ for it on the site but apparently not.

My solution to creativity block in the past was to just demolish whatever canon/rules I'd used in one story universe and just keep the name "Cultus Creek" in the new story universe somewhere.
