Actually, Flexible Infection and Flexible Survival are both written in Inform, which offers a lot less freedom to design, than HTML or Flash do. Nuku uses a Javascript plugin called "Parchment" to display his Inform project on his website, similar to how you would use a Java or Flash plugin to display the appropriate content.

In fact, I wrote the original female husky in FI, so, yeah. I can tell you that Inform is ridiculously constricting. :/
