Another one I'd begun to read was called "Kedamono Damono," which involved a boy who would turn into a woman either during the full moon or once night fell. That one had a slightly shoujo feel to it...

ah yes, kampfer. even had some MC in it at the end. too bad I haven't seen anything new from that series in a long, long time.
