Re: Red Parrot presents: Office Politics (Preview)
VERY WELL DONE! i especially love how they use both in-camera and post production effects, as well as using effects in conjunction with editing and shot variation. Nice production values, can't wait to buy it!

Very nice!
I love how each time, slowly, progressively, the overall quality of content just creeps up towards higher and higher quality material. |

MMMM Not bad! Looks like some nice process. Some great angles and touches. Could have slightly better models. But I'll give it a firm OHYEAH anyway!

WOW!
I am rendered speechless. All I can say is WOW! Consider me in line to buy a copy when this comes out. WOW! Thank you so much for sharing the trailer, and I cannot wait for the finished product! Let me say once again, WOW! (and if you do have to break it into ten separate clips to sell it, please promise that the whole this is available uncut. It's just awesome) Last edited by scidram; 12-21-2013 at 06:31 PM. Reason: wanted to add more to this positive comment |

Re: Red Parrot presents: Office Politics (Preview)
I want it! Yup!
Good lighting and audio, it's all definitely a step above. I like the squeaky voice! I hope you do more of it and maybe even higher. (Technically even a very slight shrink ought to raise the voice noticeably. =========== Has this all been shot yet? If not, mind a suggestion? There is something I have always wanted to see tried, and I think ought to be easy: Arms, legs and boobs are like pendulums - the smaller they are, the faster they naturally move. So speeding up the video on your model can help sell the shrinking illusion. Most video editors do this well, particularly if you shoot at 50-60 fps and do any "film look" after the speed shift. I'm guessing somewhere in the 150-200% range would look best. This might raise the voice pitch too much, but partially restoring it would work the same as you've already done. Since she wouldn't be used to her own limbs moving that fast, she'd tend to stumble, bounce, and fall over a lot and need to wave her arms around to keep balance. When first shrunk she might need a minute to relearn how to walk! That would be fun to watch. She'd also need to deliver her lines more slowly, since they will be sped up. Long walking, running and climbing scenes would, IMHO, be big highlights. I hope this helps! |

Re: Red Parrot presents: Office Politics (Preview)
The hairstyles oddly changing back & forth during the shrinking was a bit nitpicky, other than that, SUPERB!

^Of course she'd also run into major, potentially fatal problems with the Square-Cube law... or we could refrain from nitpicking the science of a physically impossible fantasy :-P

Well said! Let's just rejoice that the trailer kicks ass, and accept her as a real shrunken cutie who definitely seems to be acting in the moment instead of just reciting lines. I cannot express enough how excited I am by this upcoming blockbuster! Last edited by scidram; 12-21-2013 at 08:03 PM. |

The production values are certainly impressive.
I will definitely keep an eye on this one -- and hope perhaps for a double shrinking, hmmm? |

O.O
Holy $#|+ this is awesome. The shrinking video I've always wanted to see is being made at last, this truely is the standard by which all shrinking vids should be held to. Will this be a one time thing, or does he intend to make others?
