Re: "Growing up Together" - Story (tags inside) Part 7 added 5/25!

“Day 11 – continued”

After giving Greg her keys and shooing him away (his vehicle was still left at the former restaurant’s parking lot), making him promise on his soul to return her car intact, and also promising him in return on any updates on what they learned, Dr. Sarah Johnson got to work. The first thing she did was order the giant to lay flat on her back. The normal sized woman reasoned that first they had to figure out just how bad Kirsten’s situation was.

She collected her yardstick, turned it over to the side that measured in feet, and began. I can’t believe I’m measuring more than six feet on her already. She thought as she quickly approached the ten foot mark. This is insane! She couldn’t even begin to imagine how much human body she was dealing with. Every body part was now breaking world records, from nose to toes. She shuddered. How they were going to clothe the giant was beyond her. As she measured alongside her titan friend, Sarah noted the makeshift bra and panties.

“Impressive work, by the way.” She noted sarcastically. “How did you manage those?”

It took a moment for Kirsten to figure out what she was talking about, then it clicked.

She smiled guiltily. “I, I kind of snagged them.” She said, clearly ashamed. Her face fell completely. “I saw a party tent in a clearing that was clearly set up for an upcoming birthday party. It was pretty big. I-”

“Kirsten, it’s ok.” The doctor said as she continued measuring. “It’s only a bit of physical property, no one was hurt. JEESUS!” She had just finished measuring at the top of Kirsten’s head.

The sudden yelp almost caused her to sit up in alarm but she mustered some will to stay on ground so as to not frighten her friend. “What is it, doc? How bad off am I?”

“Bad.” Sarah replied. “Brace yourself.” She gave her a moment and took a breath. “Fifty-nine feet.”

“WHAT?” The giant bellowed.

“You are now fifty-nine feet tall. Right on the dot.” The physician repeated. She frowned, something about that number was familiar. “How tall were you previously?”

“Five foot nine inches, on the dot.” Kirsten said, stunned. “So you mean…?”

“You just grew ten times your previous size in a matter of minutes?” She finished for her big friend. “Yes. It seems that way.”

The giant red head just lay there, looking at her friend and lost for words.

-------------

Detective Erik Wolfe was having the nightmare of his career. First, he accidentally shoots a hostage in the shoulder while on a drug bust case. Then he gets verbally assaulted and interrogated by the Internal Affairs office, suspended with pay for ninety days, and now essentially chained to the desk, or “Desk Duty” as police officers have deemed it.

An athletically built black man in his mid fifties, this timing couldn’t be worse for him. About two years ago he had begun to make his own bid for captaincy. Spending over twenty years in homicide, ten years prior in narcotics, he believed that he had more than earned the right. He thought he saw his chance two years ago when his current Captain started spreading news he was contemplating retirement.

But, Erik moved too soon. Apparently he struck a nerve when he so audaciously announced his claims shortly after with his colleagues. Soon enough the word spread to the Captain, then he got the summons. After some heated words about “premature claims” and “over inflated ego”, things were never right between the two since.

Shortly after he conveniently got a call from one of the Captain’s “friends” in narcotics who needed a favor. They needed someone to infiltrate a drug ring, and he was supposedly perfect for the job. So, after spending more than a year moving through the underworld ranks, all seemed to be moving smoothly. Then he got made.

He wasn’t sure how, but suddenly he found himself in a hostage situation. After being pointed as a cop, the drug lord’s second in command pulled out a pistol on the buyer he and the detective were selling to: a white woman in her mid thirties. Before he knew it the dealer was using her as a shield.

He had a clear shot at his head. The detective took it, but as he did so the dealer ducked and she shifted ever so slightly in front of him. She took the hit in the shoulder. The dealer fled after words and was captured. But his days as an undercover for that drug organization were over.

The second in command was convicted. But he refused to turn in his boss. In fact, Erik was pretty sure that the only reason he wasn’t in jail himself was that they still managed to capture a high ranking drug officer and the saved woman pleaded with the IA office in his behalf and testified to his heroics.

But that didn’t improve his situation. Now, in the present, he felt more like a loser than anything. Not only was he stuck to a desk but he was on a wild goose chase to a bogus story.

“Giant woman indeed.” He muttered in his deep voice. He brushed his fingers through is short black and slightly graying hair. He couldn’t even believe he was given this case to begin with. It was clearly a hoax. No such thing was possible. But multiple media, social media and eye witness accounts would normally suggest other wise.

“There’s still a logical explanation to this.” He said thinking out loud. “And I’ll find it.” It was an illusion. A trick. Hollywood special effects.

He took this case as a sign of his further humiliation, more “payback” from his Captain, but he was still resolved to solve it. If he could prove their fraud in all of this, he would. Then…

“Detective Wolfe?” A lady secretary called. “There’s a kid on the line for you. Says he has some ‘first hand’ knowledge on the, uh, case.” It was clear she was restraining herself from mocking tones. “Shall I put him through?”

He nodded grudgingly. He had been putting up with so called “tips” for hours. Most proving to be simply nut jobs who wanted fame or attention. But it was his job. “Fine, put him through.” He answered.

His desk phone rang. “Detective Wolfe.”

“Hello, Detective Wolfe. My name is Greg Washington.”

That got his attention. “Mr. Washington? Are you ok? Reports had indicated-”

“I’m fine, detective.” He replied. “I’m on my way to you now. But first and foremost I want to say that I was NOT, repeat, NOT a hostage.”

“I’d like to believe that, Mr. Washington. But-”

“Further more, yes. She’s real. No, she’s not a threat. I’ll be glad to share all I can with you when we meet at your station. I’ll be there in a few minutes.” Click. He just had dial tone now.

Well, this should make for an interesting afternoon. He thought.

“Care to tell me what that was about, Detective?”

Startled, he turned around to see who the voice belonged to. Not the reporter, again. She was a thin, beautiful black woman by the name of Vanessa. Today she was dressed in a more casual blue jeans tight red shirt combination. The type she particularly like to wear to lower her possible story lead’s guard down.

“Nothing today, Ms. Smith.” He lied casually. “Just a bunch of nuts.”

“I doubt it.” She smiled broadly. “Mind if I listen to your interview with this ‘supposed nut’?”

“You heard.” He sighed. An interesting afternoon, indeed.

Just a slight nit-pick with your math... 10 x 5-foot-9 is not 59 feet, it's actually 57-foot-6. You've got to convert the height to inches (1 foot = 12 inches) and then back to feet.

Heh maybe. but I doubt for the purpose of my story a couple of feet difference is gonna make much of a difference. If that's what you want to go by, please be my guest. But for now I'm sticking with her being at 59 ft.

Incidentally, does any one know any good giantess converter programs? I'd like to know how wide she'd be from shoulder to shoulder and so on at that height.

Fate willing the next part of the story will be posted up tomorrow.

I usually just use the first two that pop up in a google search for Giantess Converter. I find them more then sufficient for dimensional needs.
