I like having full control over what I do or do not ship out and taking money up front ties my hands a bit and gives me a "boss" so to speak. So I don't mind paying up front and slowly making it back over time.

My issue is that I don't have enough history. I need to know how old videos continue to sell over time. If the interest is there, they'll keep going.

And if it's not there then a kickstarter won't matter.

In other words, I have faith, I just need more data. And that takes time.

Not to worry, though! This is all long-term planning. I've already shot enough to get halfway through August and I have 2 more shoots planned then to get me thorough September!

You make a good point! For a passion project like this any kind of boss or deadline can suck all the fun out of it, and who know one day this may lead to the great Red Parrot SW epic :P I know I say this a lot but keep up the good work

Hi Red Parrot. Just wanted to re-iterate how much I am loving your videos. I was also wondering, have you ever considered getting Isobel Wren to appear in any of your videos? I don't know how practical it would be to get her, but if you can, she would be well worth the effort. She is both gorgeous & a pretty good actor to boot.

I appreciate the suggestion. Finding talent has been THE hardest part of all this. I'll look into it.

Hate to be a pain, Red Parrot, but are there any updates regarding The Bride? I am extremely excited about this video....even moreso than The Photographer .

It will absolutely appear within the month of July.

My actual plans are sooner than the end of the month, but I hate giving a date I'm unsure of so I'll decline to specify.

I'll only say that if it comes out on July 31st I'll consider that a terrible mistake on my part and the worst-case scenario. Expect something better than that.
