Most if not all of the TFs that April went through in the previous few series were not mutagen related. The only one that might have been was the wasp TF. The current series is a little too fixated on the mutagen as being the only means to cause a transformation, almost as if her immunity to mutagen and mutagen being the only catalyst for transformation were specifically tailored so as to never have an April TF scene in the current series. it is silly.
not to mention that it would be extremely lame if they limit themselves just because they know there's people that enjoy the tf's.
if anything, you would think that they would tap into that so as to get a guaranteed fan base.
