I wrote a story called "The Birth of Bethany". It is about an innocent college girl who is seduced by a smoke being while babysitting. She is gradually corrupted, but retains much of herself, even when she gains power over others. Warning: it does contain a lot of cigarette smoking, in case that is a squick for you.
