Inspiration Discussion: Growth Subject

Just hoping to get a little discussion going and maybe get some new writing inspiration.

In your opinion, what sort of lady makes the best subject for growth?

The power-hungry lady-villain?

The innocent bystander who ends up reveling in the power, constantly wanting more?

The unaware subject, completely oblivious to the destruction they're causing?

The unwilling and terrified subject who just wants it to stop? (My personal favorite....)

Which of these archetypes do you guys and gals prefer, or are there others that you like even more?

Personally, I love both innocent bystanders reveling in new power and the power-hungry villain. With the bystander, they're usually short, down in the dumps, or bullied for their size before they gain they're new height, and their ascension makes them crave more and more, seemingly without end. The villain, additionally, is fun to give her a goddess complex as she grows and feels herself up and demands more. I also love the concept of a growth war/competition, where something's at stake and the two ladies try to outgrow one another.

I'm personally a fan of the "innocent bystander/would be super hero who finds herself growing and tries to do good as best she can but tends to screw up due to her not knowing her own strength and/or being far larger than she realizes but doesn't want to give up the power because of all the good she thinks she can do" archetype.

Ok, I just made that up, but you did ask if there are others I prefer to the ones you listed.

I don't know why the unwilling or unaware aspects appeal to me so much for female size growth, but with Disney's Alice in Wonderland and the '93 50ft Woman being my genesis for this fetish I really don't see any other explanation. But make it more psychological, unpredictable in spurts, clothes straining down to the individual buttons popping one at a time, considerable straining sounds of the woman's outfit, feverish anxiety caused by being in awkward situations and places...

Pretty soon Qzar9999, RedJack, and Magnus Knight will be coming over when I start describing the fetish that much.

It's just titillating. Unexplainable. Irresistible. ^_^

The protagonist of Exceeding Expectations is my ideal subject for growth. Gentle, kind, and considerate, while also gaining confidence as well as size. I also like it when the character treats her predicament like a new gadget; experimenting, and being curious with her size. Most immediate interactions of newly grown giantesses have are with their lovers. And while sex is a major draw for some, I just like it when there's only growth.

This. I'm not a big fan of destruction types unless said GTS is fighting against something else. Giant animal, robot, another GTS, the works.

But yeah generally the unwilling and terrified as well as what Link just said is what I prefer.

You can't go wrong with the gentle, caring girl who realizes they can use their size to become a cuddly guardian/protector, who keeps having growth spurts from time to time. Or if you like to make it even better; willingly keeps making herself bigger in order to take care of more things.

Although it has to be said, there's something about carefree, giant ara aras who see growth as a bit of harmless fun.

That, THAT, AND THAT!!! I mean really, I'm so sick of the whole, Oh I grew now I am going to destroy everything for no reason what so ever... Now that isn't to say I don't like seeing a giant girl destroy a city like Godzilla, but come on, there isn't enough nice girl suddenly grows and she wants it to stop scenario. Too much of this Kick, Stomp, Crush, and Chew scenario :/ GTS is much more of this and deserves more of the innocent play. If you like the mean plot and the likes, then that's fine. But some of us like a little more realism and not a plot that has been WAY too over done. Just my thoughts.

I'm with you on that. I like the accidental growth that may or may not turn monstrous, but I've always been curious about the women who have nightmares of being the monster, complete with seedy black-and-white montages, because they're gentle in their normal lives.

Same here. I like it when they're gentle and caring, and see their size as a good thing.

My favorite, one that I do a lot for my MP3's because I love to do it, is a short girl who wants to be taller to gain the attention of someone and thinks whatever she is doing isn't working, then later, it surprisingly does. It works so well that she becomes over amazon sized, and forgets about attracting the attention she once wanted, she now has to grow just to feel the sensation over and over.

For me there's no minimum or maximum size. She just wants to do it to experience the pleasure of change.
