Liza The Female Version of the Spiderman's The Lizard and Her Transforming Friends

Believe it or not there is and issue of What If that features a story where the lizard creates a transformation gas he unleashes on the suburbs of newyork, and yes his wife is among the legion of lizards, it's not really the focus of the story but the end result so it really doesn't show anyone but Curt Conners transforming sadly, only the end result of his plan, hundreds of lizards closing in on the city.

It's an old Exiles issue.
Connor turns not only his wife into a Lizard, but a bunch of his neighbours. By the time the Exiles show up (ten years after that), the whole eastern seaboard is divided by a huge wall to keep the millions of Lizards contained.

Oh, and there were also Lizard versions of Mary Jane, Betty Brant and some other girls from the Spider-Man franchise (alongside Lizard Hulk, Capwolf and a Vampire Captain Marvel) on the recent Spider-Island issues of Secret Wars.

I knew it was one of their Alternate realities.. though I swear I saw in it What IF as a dark outcome.. but after looking on WikiPedia doesn't look like it. I didn't really red Exiles but I know the concept, a group of Alternate Reality heroes battling evil in different dimensions, at least after the change from Juggernaut leading a villain team in the Ultraverse. Also found it funny there where about 25 variant Exiles teams made up of wolverine variants in teams of 5(most just back ground appearances)
