So you paid him to make it AND he's selling it? Or you commissioned it and you are selling it? Either way seems pretty low-blow to me.
This is the same problem I have with kickstarters...

I don't see anything wrong with it. I've sold several ebooks that I originally wrote as commissions. As long as the patron and the artist agree on it ahead of time, what's the harm?
I hasten to add that this isn't the first time this sort of thing has been done. For instance, ZZZ and Dreamtales are constantly selling things they've commissioned from other artists.

The whole crux of the matter is whether or not it's worth it to buy though, since art that isn't top-tier must be free according to internet expectations. But people can always just not buy it - it's only when they cheat you with misleading product is it a low-blow. Also I bought the comic when it came out. Great quality - only kind of sad I don't get to see the faces, lol. |

Does anyone have copies of the sketches Witchking00 did for the transformation comic mentioned earlier in this thread, Asari Effect? The ones of crew members as Asari? They seem to have disappeared with the old hentaicolors website.
