Ever remember the cartoon "The Bionic 6"? For those of you who were born after 1987, it was your usual family team of stereotypical '80s kids enhanced with "bionics". They would activate their watch and say "Bionics On!" and get super strength, speed, etc according to their type. Oddly enough, the bionics were treated much more like nanomachines then what we would regard as cybernetic systems.

Anyway, in my dream, the team was threatened by the evil villain, and as heros typically do they all activated their bionics. However, the villian had infected them with a virus that reprogramed their bionic systems, and instead of remaining human they turned into bionic centaurs. Alarmed at first, they quickly discovered that they retained most of their bionic powers, and some were enhanced due to the larger equine frames. (Man I had detailed dreams. )

So the snotty male teen hero started giving the villan (Dr. Badguy? Something like that.) lip about how he had made the bionic 6 even more powerful, but Dr. Badguy just laughs maniacally and rants something like "You fools! The virus wasn't meant for you, I wanted you to spread it to your friends and the members of the World Defense Council!"
And he hits some button, and all the people (did I mention this went down in a high school auditorium? Standard stuff for the 80's, and yes, all the world leaders were there, in a common US highschool. Hey, it could happen.) started mutating into bionic equine anthromorphs with glowing eyes.

Needless to say, just as they got started fighting I woke up. Never did find out if they found a cure either.
