You DO corrupt Ashara, but unlike Jaesa she doesn't actually betray her principles rather than re-examine them and try to apply the Dark and Light side philosophies together. So you do corrupt her, but since she was already deeply questioning the way the Jedi order worked in the first place (not to mention her teachers were jerks) it's not as apparent as it is with Jaesa. Part of her development is realizing she was Sith all along, rather than becoming one.

Dang, I was hoping you could go around instilling evil into the hearts of everyone, creating dark and twisted disciples out of innocents.

About the best darkside acts in the original KOTOR game were the few times when you could turn honest, decent people into dark-hearted selfish jerks.
(I usually didn't have the heart to try most of the darkside stuff though, muggings and such).

...I don't suppose the game lets you learn Sith alchemy to twist minds and bodies into corrupt forms?

Unfortunately most of the darkside options in KOTOR were plain out childish.
Old Republic choices were finally turned into somewhat epic.

As for the sith alchemy, you usually time cleaning up the mess such as rakghouls that infest Taris. You actually get a rakghoul companion as the imperial agent.
The NPC is really funny as his your stereotypical old british gentleman that can go "Jolly Good Sir, I'll be eating your face now" since he can switch between forms.

This is a really massive setback. I doubt his going to share the code for how the site worked either. Guess I'll have to start actually stalking and watching threads now.

Don't know how many people will care about this, but Soul Calibur V updated with some new DLC gear, some of which being character-specific costumes being released as custom pieces for dressing up characters. One part of it is Pyrrha Omega's jacket... which includes her malfested arm. The unfortunate part of that is that you can't have the arm without the jacket. Let's take a look at Viola here, who I just dressed up as Pyrrha Omega.
