Abandoned Comic - Alison Prime

I posted some previews for this a looong while back. I was doing a 5-6 page comic for Alison Prime but after several re-starts I gave up on the project.

Never could get just the right angles/poses I wanted. I had/have a lot to learn yet.

Anyh00, I was cleanin out the old HD and found these, figured I'd share em before they hit the ol' Recycle Bin.

I thought that was pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing them with us, at the very least it might inspire another artist to try their own take on it.

Heh, even your supposed crap is awesome! I would have loved to see this finished, but I can still get the idea. I'll just let my imagination take it from there,

That was a great looking sequence.

Must say, it's rare to see an over-head shot involved with growth.

Great work, man. I don't think it needed to be abandoned at all. The angles and the sketches look really good, it just needed some cleaning up.

And yeah, the top down view on the last panel: Brilliant! It really affects the mood of the whole thing.

I understand why you abandoned it, though. It's tough to keep working on a sequence when you feel you're not communicating exactly what's inside your head. It's a lot of work, so you want it to be perfect. I also have at least a couple unfinished sequences just sitting in my hard drive.

By the way, I just checked out your deviant account. Your coloring has improved by leaps and bounds. That last image you created is absolutely amazing!

This may sound odd, but I prefer your drawn artwork to your 3D work. It has much more character to it.
