Starting Out with Growth Stories

To all of you successful growth story writers, I'd love to get some advice. For the past several years I've been eager to start writing my own female growth stories but for various reasons just haven't been able to. I have lots of great story ideas, and can write quite well, but something has been holding me back. Not that I have more time right now, but have finally started to write my first one, and I intend to finish it. Any suggestions on how to make it the best story it can be?
